Adsense Banned: What It Taught Me

| February 19, 2012 | Comments (4)

There are other alternatives.  There are ways to make money online  with blogging that have nothing to do with Adsense.  I didn’t know that.  I hadn’t even thought of it, but yeah, there are ways to do it.  See, Adsense does something to you that you don’t even realize.  You can’t even imagine it’s happening.

You become so reliable on Adsense and EPC (Earnings Per Click) advertising that you just convince yourself that you can’t do without it.  The truth is, though, that you can make money (lots of money) online and through blogging without Google or their advertising.

Make Money Blogging Options Without Adsense

A new beginning without Adsense

  1.  Chitika, Infolinks, Adbrite, Clicksor and Konteraa are all viable advertising options on your site that you can go with.  None are better than Adsense but all pay.
  2. Affiliate marketing through blogging is cool too.  Choose a product and blog the hell about it.  It can be mittens for kids or re-upholstering your couch, just make sure that you can find an affiliate for it.
  3. Provide a Service and go with it.  Look at all those gigs on Fiverr and Gigbucks and design a blog about it.  If you market it right and combine a bunch of “related” gigs into one cohesive blog then you can make some money doint that with your blog as well.

The Number 1 Thing Adsense Disablement Taught Me

Don’t ever think that you can’t make money online blogging without Google.  It pains me a great deal.  I’m a huge Google fan and an Android fanatic, but they screwed me…that’s as clean as I can put it.  Don’t ever think, though, that they are the “be all and end all” to making a living online.

In 18 months I made $97 dollars with Adsense.  After my account was disabled I started t to think outside the box and made $63 without Adsense all in ONE DAY.

As I stated in my last post:  “The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world that He didn’t exist”

Don’t get caught up thinking that you can’t survive without Google and Adsense.  Think about what you can offer.  There are things you can do that no one else can do.  There are things that you can offer that no one else can.  You just have to push back the curtains that the Devil has set in front of you….AND DO IT!

Blogging Dude Out!

P.S.  Dear Adsense,  I appealed my suspension and want to know why.  Will you come clean and tell me why or will you send some corporate, pre-fabricated email about “why” I was disabled.  I’m calling you out.  You’ve gotten’ too big for yourself and the internet and all great Empires eventually fall. Can you set up another Adsense account using a different Google account or do they track it by the website?

    Cesar,
Too risky, really. There are ways to do it but I wouldn’t want to deal with the constant worry. And I could never put Adsense up on the same sites again…they’d kill me again. I have appealed and hopefully that comes out ok…if not, I’m already working on alternatives. Hope all is well with you.

    Ken,

Thanks for sharing this with your readers, it will be really interesting to know if you get anything answered.

I just had my youtube account cancelled without warning or real reason as well. I didnt even get a notice, I was looking at old posts and saw that my videos were not showing up. When I went to my channel page it just said I have violated Community Guidelines. I have no clue why. I had two videos, one a slide show of the gift guide I had posted in December and the other one was a review of a GPS unit. Not sure what the problems was.

    Cesar,

Yeah man…I don’t know what’s up. Best to you though. We can make it happen without them.
