New Blogging For Money Idea
As bloggers who are trying to make money, we’re always thinking of ways to increase revenue. So, I am going to try something here and see if it works or not. I’m going to build blogs for people. This is what my vision is:
Customer contacts me and they need a blog. Maybe they have an event coming up that they want to attract attention to. Maybe they’re trying to promote a business. Heck, maybe they just wanna’ write on the web but not have to go through the rigamarole of creating the site. So, this is what happens:
They purchase domain and hosting through my affiliate accounts on Bluehost and Hostgator.
They choose 1 of 3 premium blog templates that I own the rights to.
And that’s it. I make them a blog or site that they can start using.
And for $50, I also do the following:
3 original posts with their keywords
1 Squid Lens
1 Hub
Create a Twitter account and get them started with 10o targeted followers.
I think that’s a pretty good idea. How about you all?
I would receive the affiliate commissions for hosting and domain if nothing else and the customer pays me nothing to create the site if they wanna’ run with it themselves. If they want the additional head start, then I do the other stuff and I don’t think $50 is too much to ask.
Now, the real question: Do I use BFD here for the launching platform just to see if it takes, or do I go with another domain and site to promote it.
Please provide feedback. I’d be interested in what you all think.

I’d say that a pretty good deal your offering. Your plate is pretty full here. I’d be afraid your new venture would get lost. A new platform might seem better to kick it off. That way there’s nothing to divide a person’s attention.

Shelley,
Thanks for stopping by and for the input-and I tend to agree with you. BTW…I never addressed or thanked your for your Versatile Blogger nomination and I feel terrible. My cup has been drained, refilled, drank and refilled again lately between issues and building blogs (two or three that I’m trying to grow). So, I owe you and apology.
Thanks for continuing to stop by
Ken
Ken,
It’s easy to get bogged down at times. You have far more going on than I do. No apologies needed.
I hope you’ll take the time to read my last post. I’ve learned a lot from reading Danny Iny’s book. In short, I’m just giving an overview as I read. I’ve gained valuable insight just from the first section.
Don’t get discouraged…keep up your good work.
