This Is Me!

I’ve been involved in it. Being able to include my kids in Blogging For Dads , and make this a true “dad blog”, has been even more enjoyable. That being said…there are things that you need to know about me before you read any further.

My name is Ken.

I”m in the Army and have been active-duty for 17 years.

I love to write and have people read my writing.

I started blogging for money on July 17th 2011 (yeah, three months ago!)

I’ve been making money writing for about 3 years.

I live in Laurel, MD and my wife and kids live in Massachusetts.

I live a lonely, reclusive life.

My time is spent at work on Fort Meade, at the gym, hanging with my Quaker Parrot, Boom Boom and writing online and making money.

I like wine.

I love Scotch.

I am determined to make money online and live off of that income by the time I retire from the Army in 3 to 6 years. I don’t plan on having another job after the Army. Nothing could compare in my opinion.

I have 3 daughters (one adult, two teens) and a son (teen) in Florida with his mother.

I’ve realized that blogging is addictive. Web writing for money is a passion.

Blogging for Money is hard.

There are some really great people in the blogosphere that make money and want to to help. (See No Job For Mom and Smart Passive Income.)

There are lots of jerks, idiots, con-people and immoral internet marketers that will try to sell you anything.

Why did I write this post? I guess it’s because my “About” page doesn’t say that much and that’s because I don’t want it to. I’d rather you just ask if you really wanna’ know any specifics about me. The basics are this: You like blogging . I like blogging. We should try to corner this business together. We’ll make money and then we’ll talk about it on our blogs later.

Then we’ll be luvin’ life and livin’ the dream!
